THE PRESIDENTS CUP GOLF TOURNAMENT – SAN FRANCISCO TRAFFIC AND TRANSIT IMPACTS OCTOBER 5-11

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) advises San Francisco residents and visitors of the following event-related traffic and transit impacts, Monday, October 5—Sunday, October 11, 2009.

Muni customers and those traveling in the area can check with sfmta.com or call 311 to find out which of the 80 Muni lines will get them where they want to go.

Due to the Professional Golfers Association holding the President’s Cup Golf Tournament at Harding Park, the following closures will be required from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

· Herbst Road from Skyline Boulevard to Skyline Boulevard

· Skyline Boulevard between Great Highway and Lake Merced Boulevard

· John Muir Drive (westbound only) from Lake Merced Boulevard to Skyline Boulevard

The 18 46th Avenue and the 88 BART Shuttle Muni routes will be affected.
