FABIO LUISI, Conductor & Leonie – FRANZ SCHMIDT, Composer

There is no doubt that Joshua Bell is a #1 Superstar on many lists of many varieties. This past month SONY CLASSICS released his virtuoso performance of Vivaldi’s THE FOUR SEASONS recorded with the ACADEMY OF ST. MARTIN IN THE FIELDS. The work is paired with Giuseppe Tartini’s Sonata in G minor for Violin and Basso Continuo, aka, “Devil’s Trill Sonata”. You will want to have it available on both Thursday and Saturday nights for Joshua to sign. On Friday night, as part of the “Off The Podium” series, you can stay afterwards and ask the charming Mr. Bell anything you want … inside the Hall. You don’t want to miss it.
