GMO Labeling Drive for California Begins February 18

The Committee for the Right to Know is a grassroots coalition of consumer, public health, environmental organizations, and food companies in California that is working to put an initiative on the 2012 California ballot requiring labeling of genetically engineered foods (also known as GE foods, or GMOs). Volunteers will begin gathering qualifying signature on February 18th.

Local chapters of the campaign are actively seeking volunteer signature gatherers who are willing to contribute a few hours a month or more to the cause. Those interested should attend one of the upcoming signature gathering trainings listed at <> .
