London is the place to be in 2012 – not just for the Queen’s Jubilee or the Olympics – but the Jewish Gay and Lesbian Group’s big 40th anniversary celebrations and the Board Meeting of the World Congress of GLBT Jews in the same week.

The World Congress of GLBT Jews Board meeting will be Monday and Tuesday, July 2- 3, 2012, with details of agenda and venue to be announced.

Arrangements for the JGLG’s celebration so far include:

Friday 29th June 2012 – JGLG’s 40th anniversary Chavura, hosted by 3 Rabbis and in memory of Andreas Hinz.

Saturday 30th June 2012 – JGLG’s BIG 40th anniversary party in Knightsbridge, Central London overlooking Hyde Park. ‘Champagne’ reception, followed by a 3 course meal and then a fabulous cabaret show, hosted by Dave Lynn with a line-up of guests!

Sunday 1st July 2012 – Bagel lunch – somewhere special!

We hope to have a few other events during the week followed by a pre-Pride Chavura on Friday 6th July 2012 and World Pride in London on July 7th. More information will be announced soon.

On behalf of all the Board and Steering Committee of the World Congress of GLBT Jews, we wish you a Chag Sameach (happy Rosh Hashanah) and Gmar Chatima Tova! Please visit our Calendar Page to check for a place to feel part of the community these High Holidays!

Save the dates!
