PURSUIT OF EQUALITY BEGINS PUBLIC AWARENESS SCREENINGS

We are excited to announce that we have begun our “awareness” screenings of PURSUIT OF EQUALITY across California!

Educating people on this issue is vital, and supporting the organizations fight the “marriage ban” is crucial!

Now, more than ever, is the time to share Pursuit of Equality with all of our friends, family,
colleagues, and fellow all Californians.

As you may know, Proposition 8 will appear on the November 2008 ballot in California . It is variously known as the Protect Marriage Act, the Same-Sex Marriage Ban or the Marriage Discrimination Act. If it passes, it will add a new constitutional amendment to the California Constitution that “provide[s] that only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California.”

Screening PURSUIT OF EQUALITY has the potential to make a crucial impact in achieving timely public awareness on what is undoubtedly this country’s next great civil rights debate.
