San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom has always looked to Robert Kennedy as a political role model, but he now finds himself following in the footsteps of Jerry Springer.
Newsom takes to the airwaves Saturday on 960 AM for the premiere of his own weekly, 30-minute talk show. Springer was the mayor of Cincinnati when he got his broadcast start giving daily radio addresses on WEBN-FM.
